1A PRELIM RULES

  • 1A Prelims will be 1-minute performances and are required for all competitors.

  • 1A Prelims scoring will follow the standard NYYL scoring.

  • The top 10 placing competitors from the 1A prelims will advance to finals.

1A + X FINALS RULES

  • Finals freestyles are 2-minute performances.

  • Finals scoring will follow the standard NYYL scoring for finals.

  • 1A Finals competitors will be comprised of players qualified from the preliminary round.

  • 1A competitors advancing to the finals will be seeded into the finals based on their total prelim score, starting with the lowest score to highest score, to determine their performance order in the finals.
